In their 12th Street Corridor Revitalization Project, the Little Rock Police Department was looking to establish themselves all along 12th Street. The building encompasses an entire city block and is a new substation for 12th Street neighborhood on the 1st floor while relocating their detective division from downtown to the second floor. The building is a mixed-use building venture partnered with private companies with retail spaces. The main meeting space for the officers serves as a safe room for 200 people. Additionally, to make the building spatially flexible for any future department changes, we incorporated moveable walls.
