The Baptist Health Medical Center sees 1/3 of all its patients in the emergency department. Therefore, RPPY endeavored to redefine the entrance of the Emergency Department as a key point of access. This involved incorporating a covered patient drop-off and pick-up area while retaining an exposed structural design to impart a contemporary aesthetic. Inside, the modern theme extends seamlessly into the expanded waiting room, characterized by fluid, curvilinear geometry evoking a serene water-like ambiance that harmonizes with the notable water feature.
