Lyon College, a close-knit liberal arts institution affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, offers a personalized educational experience characterized by intimate faculty-student relationships. In response to the 2010 fire that destroyed the original Commons building, our firm undertook the task of designing a new facility that not only replaced the former structure but also nearly doubled its size, providing ample space for the college's future expansion.

The newly expanded program encompasses a range of amenities, including a spacious dining hall, food service facilities, meeting rooms, student life services, a counseling center, a health center, a performance space, after-hours social gathering areas, and a coffee bar. Situated at the heart of campus, the building is strategically organized to foster unity and a sense of community among Lyon College's student body.
